Tour de France is on again and although won't win discovery came oh so close to having a team member in yellow jersey .. Alberto Contador gave Rasmussen a ride for his money and it looks like Discovery may win team gold .. Am intrigued to find out wassup with Viniakurov though ..

it's been a while

I am happy to say that some birdie boos come and visit with me once in a while not afraid of me at all makes me feel so happy my garden is holding it's own although it's not as good as last year we have quite abit of potatoes beans had lot's of strawberries zucchinis and squash have come out God is good .. It's been almost a month since T dog passed away .. it's a bit sad time for me this dog was my heart and she got so ill. .. well on that note I'm off for a dip in apool . B

Tee hee hee that fledgling robin ended up being a momma birdie boo of four : Mozart Vivaldi Beethoven and Chopin
all survived in to adult hood talking about empty nest syndrome ..

now i have no one to talk to about my late T Dog ...

we finally had to euthanize her on june 29th she was cremated on july 11 th and now I have a beautiful cedar box full of her ashes ..

Well Baby Boo Birdie is growing like a weed I really enjoy our talks well I talk he listens I 'm going to really miss him peakin at me when he finally goes away cause his nest's already getting to small for him

Baby Boo Birdie is a fledgling Robin male .. it's so heart warming to see him allow me to come so close to him and make his self so vulnerable to me.

a sad hello as my heart is breaking .. and yes I am obsessing about this I know T dog is going to be put to sleep on Tuesday what a lonely few months it will be .. Garden is growing and growing today I'm planting the rest of the potatoes. had first few strawberries of the season Wahoo!!!!!
tomatoes are growing ... can't believe how robust and healthy my cucumber pant is... tomatoes are growing, so is squash and zucchini plant .. all is good.

a backyard resident

I am so happy to see a baby robin (actually a fledgling) reside in the nest under neath the roof in the back of the shed it makes such a nice visit to the garden to see him there, every morning ..

and few weeks a go when thunder was feeling better we went to the lake and there are what I think are none breeding bachelor groups of Loons what beautiful calls they make ... Any Hoot that is my thought for today.

sad news to report

Thunder is sick again and this time she's being euthanized it's just not fair to my Queenie to be kept alive till she deteriorates I mean as it is I should've done it on mothers day weekend but there seemed to be hope she tried soooo hard to be a healthy Dog but it 's just CRUEL to keep it going when she is this ill today she went off food . didn't even wanted to smell it let alone eat it so that tells me it's definately time to say Good bYe My dearest Friend.

Yesterday while waiting for the pool to fill I got to watch Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal visit my back yard how sweet it is to have such beautiful visitors also got to see some visiting Loons friday and saturday Morning how SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET Life is.

strawberries strawberries and more strawberries ... seems to be the only thing that has grown in that experimente i call el gardenente LOL .. my Gladioli are slowly coming up no potatoes yet... peppers as usual not doing so well... my columbine finally flowered and their are very nice... my Jacob's Ladder is doing great... so gardenenete is not a total failure and the summer is just beginning .... so who knows ... tomatoes are growing slowly although two didn't take ...

Oh yeah I failed miserably at yet another job Damn it. Some day hopefully soon I shall find something I'm good at ..

Well spring has sprung

... and my garden has been planted except for few more tomatoes which I may fore go this year .. i was going to plant some heirlooms but I am working weekends and midnites and just won't have the energy to walk up to downtown after work on Saturday.,

I had a doubly good week/day yesterday

My editor at large is on the mend although she came very close to being euthanized she decided last sunday that she was going to live and then yesterday I got a full time job 40 hrs a week working midnites.

I'm struggling with myself and feeling down in the dumps

my precious dogie Thunder is sick and I'm leaning towards euthanizing her .. it's the old time question do i try to prolong her life cause I cannot say good bye or do i put her to sleep knowing she is in a place where there's no pain and discomfort HMMM she's trying so hard but I know something is not right

CRIKEY !!!!!! ME MATES!!!!!! one would think it was July and not May .. you can really feel the heat and humidity If we do get any rain I bet its a gonn a be a doozie a of a stormi a .. ughhhhhzzzzzzzzz ....I am quaking already at the thought but it's so nice to finally emerge from the deep freeze that was second part of winter. it sure came with a vengence albeit a weeeee bit late ( January)

winters misshap

what a shame I grew and grew my precious Tomatoes all summer got them frozen and saved all the way til March break only for the fridge and freezer to Poofff magically stop working long enough so that all the tomatoes had to be thrown out ... and then Poofffff Magically fridge freezer starts working again .. what a disappointing week .. and then that is when MS Thunder has taken ill and has really gone down hill in health to the point were we need to do all sorts of testing testing 123 testing all joking side I am worried about MS Thunder. BARB
