i have fun with my garden lol it's always an experiment in progress and I love it don't care what mom says I do work on it just not at heat stroke type of pace and I'm sorry but when it's plus 40*C I will not weed... my garden is for pleasure not for strainous work ... JMHO

I guess I got more of green thumb then I thought

I guess I have a green thumb after all... lol... I'm about to sample my last variety of heirloom to matoes so far love them all but one heirloom tomato plant didn't survive the drought conditions Oh well the one s that were left are huge and sweet and I think next year I'm going to make sure to get them .

Wahoo!!those heirloom tomatoes are great Like them better then any other tomatoes I've grown and they are slowly rippening between tomatoes and Zucchini I should be ready for winter .. well Zucchini is done ate my last remains today but tomatoes are just rippening.

Huge, I say. They are huge. !!!!!!!!!

another day has come and gone

another day has come and gone my tomatoes are huge but will they rippen on time ... that is a million dollar question ... yesterday it was supposed to rain so i didn't water my garden ... no rain... so in the evening i went to water it... it rained .. lol

well that sucked Floyd Landis tested positive for too much tostestorone ... well he can't help that he's all matcho... hehehe.. Damned French strike again. First Lance now Floyd.. Vivre la stupidite!!!!!!

finally got some action on the rippening of the tomaotes wahoo ... there's hope yet that the tomatoes will all rippen before frost in october.

good news is that all my refrences for this job are ok with giving me a refrence for the jobs. I'm so happy but cautiously optimistic don't want to jinks myself being a drama queen and all trouble seems to find me .

THE GARDEN

I planted my garden again this year and inspite of the hot dry weather it managed to grow ...The birds , and the resident racoon had fun feasting on it and 7 heads of lettuce and some strawberries fell victim to the little critters... Mom b ought some lillies and I planted them they all disappeared so I planted over them only to find out 2 weeks ago that 2 bulbs have survived...WAAHOO...I guess I do have a pale green thumb.... lol

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH HEAT HEAT AND MORE HEAT ( AND HUMIDITY )

damn this humidity ... I'm melting and can't do anything about it. ..Well it looks like for once in my many years , I'm able to get some refrences to get the dream job ... Like I said to T-Dog ; It maybe a once a month type of deal for now but eventually it will lead to more and more and then I hope to build enough clientele to have a full time job....Dare I say my life's going good ... Well we'll see.

DEAR DIARY

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the job....For now it's occasional part time however it's in my field and it pays well enough and hopefully ( from my lips to God's ears) it will lead to something permanent... It's in Personal Support Worker field and it's what i want to do ...It will eventally be independant type of work free from agencies etc... For now I'm volunteering every Tuesday evening to run BINGO for the ladies at the retirement home I really enjoy spending my time with them.
